Lest We Forget

This is the day that we remember all of the amazing and incredibly brave service men and women that fought for our beautiful country.
I don't think that I will ever truely understand what they went through... what the men and women experienced out on that battlefield, or their families that were left behind.
My deepest heartfelt thanks goes out to all that were involved and sacrificed that we may live in peace. Thankyou :)

What a great tribute, Lisa! ... So, you have to educate your American friend, though. Is today like "an Independence Day" or "Memorial Day"? I have to admit I don't know anything about Australian history, but I'd love to learn.

I'm so glad I can read your blog entries now. I love it!!!

lol Ok well... here comes a short history... At 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 the war on the western front was declared over. so now each year in Australia on November 11th we have what we call 'Remembrance Day' were we honor those who fought and gave their lives for their country. The poppy is used as a symbol of Remembrance Day and many people were them.

lol I hope this helps. I Love reading your blog too and seeing what your beautiful family is getting up too! I still remember being there when you had begun going out with Paul and oh my how so much has happened since then!!! And your family is continuing to grow! I am praying for your new little one on the way

Love Lisa ox
